A Non-Profit Organization (NPO) is a legal entity that operates for the public good, rather than for profit. NPOs are entities, which carry out works such as social, cultural, educational and charitable. They are primarily funded by donations, grants, and fundraisers. Any profit made by an NPO is distributed back into the organization to further its mission, rather than being given to private individuals.
NGO Darpan Portal is a platform, wherein Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs), can register themselves to obtain a unique identity number.
